producer and booker

A woman with shoulder-length hair standing indoors next to a large window, looking outside. She is wearing a fitted short-sleeve dress, with her hands clasped in front of her. Behind her, there is a patterned wallpaper, a wall clock showing about 3:10, and a cabinet with various objects.

Ansley began her career in television and documentary with a dream internship at NBC News Peacock Productions and has worked in long-form nonfiction ever since. As an associate producer, she pitched and booked more than 30 episodes and specials—covering topics from serial killers to Anna Nicole Smith—before earning her first field producer credit.

She specializes in developing and telling dark, complex stories, with a particular focus on producing for first seasons of documentary series. She brings untold stories and new voices to some of the most notorious of cases, and prides herself on her ability to conduct emotionally charged interviews and source never-before-seen archival material destined to go viral. Her work has appeared on HBO Max, Hulu, Investigation Discovery, A&E, Oxygen, MSNBC, and more.

Ansley lives in Brooklyn, New York with her tuxedo cat and partner.
